Torotai, mascot of the Judo - Jujutsu section until 2003. |
It is an honor to present the selection of the mascot for the Judo-Taijutsu section at Nuestra Señora del Carmen School and Official mascot of Nihon Taijutsu / Jujutsu teaching in Primary and Secondary Education. After careful consideration and reflection, we are pleased to announce that the mascot chosen to represent the essence of this martial art is the "Torotai" at our school.
The Torotai was designed by our esteemed student, Alberto Araus from 3rd year of ESO, who blends the elegance and strength of the Spanish fighting bull into a unique symbiosis, embodying the philosophy and skill that characterize Taijutsu. This majestic bull, with its regal bearing and indomitable agility, reflects the fundamental principles of this martial art, which seeks the balance between strength and harmony.
By adopting the Torotai as the symbol of our sports section, we aim to inspire our students to reach new goals in their practice, as well as to cultivate the values of respect, discipline, and perseverance that are inherent in this ancient form of combat.
May the presence of the Torotai in our school community strengthen our commitment to the holistic development of our students in the traditional martial art of Taijutsu, guiding them toward excellence in both physical and spiritual training. May this choice mark the beginning of an exciting phase filled with learning and growth in our educational institution!
